SLUE is a music boutique founded by Joep van den Boom and Theu Naus. One being fascinated by corporate and commercial music, the other by films and trailers.
They decided to join forces.

Joep van den Boom is a songwriter, composer and music producer born in Amstelveen, the Netherlands. Growing up in a family devoted to business strategy and marketing, he entered the music scene performing as a young EDM artist, but quickly found his true passion for writing, composing and producing music. At the age of 18, he started his own business and five years later he graduated from ArtEZ University of the Arts with a degree in Music Production, where he met Theu.

Theu Naus was exposed to various types of music in his youth through his relatives who were musicians. He started playing piano from an early age and soon discovered that he had a preference for classical and film music. He completed a technical course at the Media Park in Hilversum and studied Music Production at PACT in Amsterdam. After that, he studied composition for Films & Games at the Artez University of the Arts, where he met Joep.

We have a passion for telling stories, creating emotions and delivering experiences. Every project is an exciting journey, where creativity meets precision. We put in our craftsmanship and eye for creative detail to bring out the full potential of original sound for the media.
